A Summer Day in Colorful Shades of Blue
It was a hot summer day and the sky was just a soft pale blue tapestry, so vast it seemed to match the rolling waves of the ocean as they kissed the shoreline. The sun was high up, making the people in the park seek shelter in the shade of the tall trees. The children playing in the park didn't seem to mind though, as they frolicked in the bright blue wading pool.
As the day went on, the temperatures rose and the sun's intensity was only countered by the blue shades that the sky seemed to transform in to. It glimmered in emerald, navy and azure hues, adding a bit of mesmerizing sparkle to the bright blue afternoon.
The cooling feel of the ocean was only a few steps away, and its depths were even more vividly blue taking on some shades of teal and turquoise. The water seemed to be alive as its waves lapped slowly against the shore and small white fish jumped above the surface.
The day slowly started to reach its end, and the sun's yellow rays started melting in to the background of the sky. The fire like oranges and vibrant yellows slowly gave way to the softer shades of blue.
The sun slowly set over the tranquil ocean and a pinkish hue emerged turning the sky in to a magnificent gradient of soft blues, oranges and pinks. As the twilight slowly turned in to night, it was illuminated by a big full moon, white in color yet surrounded in a ring of deep blue hues. The stars also started to appear one by one creating a unique constellation in shades of blue.
It was a mesmerizing summer day, full of life and captivating colors. It may have been a day that quickly flew by, yet if one looked closely, one could see how it was carefully crafted in an array of blue shades.
