It was a chilly but sunny day in late December, the 22nd of 12mmdd. On this day, many people were up early to start the Christmas and New Year celebrations, setting off fireworks and stringing up lights and decorations around the house to get in the festive spirit.
Others decided to spend the day out in nature, visiting nearby parks or forests. This was the perfect day to go on a long walk in the park, with the chill in the air and the winter sunshine. Families also took part in a local event at the nearby park, which was a great way to spend the day, having fun with friends and family and getting some exercise at the same time.
Others still chose to stay in and relax with a good book. With the long and hectic days leading up to the holidays, this was the perfect time to take a break and catch up on some reading. There was also plenty of Christmas music playing in the background, creating the perfect atmosphere to relax with a warm cup of tea and read.
